V.E.M. SRLs is a SME formed by a team of young people who have decades of experience in the field of education, vocational training and new technologies; V.E.M. is recognised as an effective, efficient and gender proactive institution for the promotion and development of the labour market sector in Calabria.
The philosophy of education at V.E.M. is based on a holistic conception of education that focuses on all aspects of the human experience including the importance of dialogue and interculturalism. V.E.M. endorses a student-learning pedagogy methodology that acknowledges the importance of differentiated learning and instruction. We believe in the importance of all kinds of research including academic and action-based research which produces tangible results. V.E.M. strives to achieve the highest quality standards in education.

The Vision of V.E.M. is to offer high-quality education and learning experiences supported by active and research activities in a variety of fields connected to recognized and developing professions (such as ICT and Computer Studies, Business, Management, Leadership, Hospitality, Sport) while offering learners a genuine multicultural and intercultural experience.

V.E.M. has a deep experience working with EU programmes. Among others we have extensive experience with the predecessor of Erasmus+ (Lifelong learning programme, LLP), and we have been very closely following the changes in the new programme.
Our working approach: our staff have more than 10 years of experience with professional after education, and therefore a vast experience with a learner-centred approach. During the courses we ensure that the learning is contextualised, relevant and applicable for each participant and their organisation. Theory is put into action through concrete training of new competences as well as through working on the cases from the group.
Since its inception, V.E.M. has been very actively involved in vocational education, higher education, teaching, work placements and internships. V.E.M. has a deep experience working with EU programmes. Among others we have extensive experience with the predecessor of Erasmus+ (Lifelong learning programme, LLP), and we have been very closely following the changes in the new programme. These last two years we have been very active in receiving a variety of learners from different countries namely from France, Northern, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and Poland.. This gave us a wide spectrum of international exposure. Through its networking and affiliation with a wide variety of international organizations V.E.M. has established networks and affiliations with a wide variety of international industry and academic organizations to enable it to work collaboratively in delivering high-quality programs in all areas of teaching and research. These include: EAIE (European Association for International Education); IIE (Institute of International Education); Linux Professional Institute. Moreover V.E.M. organized and managed several courses for school inspectors, headmasters, teachers about new methodological approaches in school education with a strong focus on coaching and gamification approaches. V.E.M. deals also with social child care, the improvement of the quality of existing educational system (pre-school, elementary, secondary and lifelong education ), as well as the development of a society which learns through participation and development of projects: in this area it has a deep experience in ESL and it has developed several local projects in order to tackle dropout.
Moreover V.E.M. organized and managed several courses for school inspectors, headmasters, teachers about new methodological approaches in school education with a strong focus on coaching and gamification approaches. V.E.M. deals also with social care, the improvement of the quality of existing situations, as well as the development of a society which learns through participation and development of projects: in this area it has a deep experience and it has developed several local projects on ICT for adults, trainings on conditions and possibilities that influence adults’ participation in learning, in working life and in society, trainings on motivation and facilitation of learning as central topics, related to adults’ different life situations, experiences, lifestyles, cultures, values, social backgrounds and social positions.
Apart from after education courses for youngsters and adult learners, V.E.M. has a large experience of consultancy work, working with strategic processes, evaluation, leadership development, team development and coaching. As part of dissemination of knowledge V.E.M. has also organized workshops and seminars related to various topics concerning professional development.
Our team are young, diverse, professional and energetic, we fulfil requirements to the highest expectations and promptly. Key persons involved in this project have:
-Social skills and competences: custom to work in group, in multicultural and multilingual contexts;
-Interpersonal skills: leadership, empathy, communication, active listening, mediating;
-Organizational skills and competences: coordinators of European projects, trainers; ability to develop tasks either under supervision or autonomously; sense of organization and ability to plan, time management and prioritization;
-Technical skills and competences: Project Cycle Management, Goal Oriented Project Planning, Participatory Approach, Problems and Difficulties Analysis (questionnaires/interviews/focus groups, problems trees), SWOT Analysis, Evaluation, Disemination and Valorization plans, organization of seminars, conferences and international meetings;
-Computer skills and competences: good knowledge of: Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Internet, blogs, facebook, on-line platforms, web 2.0 tools;
-Experience in project financial management; relation with banks.
